Where we need your help:
As our community becomes more diverse and inclusive, we need more inclusive schools and public facilities! We are excited to be providing repairs that will ensure our future local youth have access to playgrounds! All children should have equal opportunities to play
This project will involve repairing, building, re visioning, and remodeling. If you know how to do light carpentry, we are definitely going to need your help.
With so many moving pieces, we could always use an extra hand. If handiwork isn’t your thing, you can help us enormously by taking on administrative duties of workdays, such as greeting and supervising volunteers, getting waivers signed and filed, or making phone calls.
Join us on our mission to retain our longest neighbors, and keeping our community members safe by making safety repairs their home. By implementing safety modifications such as grab bars in the bathroom, handheld shower heads, elevated toilet seats, exterior handrails, or wheelchair ramps the Safe at Home program helps prevent accidents or exposure that can cause injury, illness, or even death.
