Volunteers made a big difference working on Ethel’s house!
Led by the super competent Moe Wright of BBI Construction, the members of the First Congregational Church of Berkeley showed up big-time to help out a neighbor in need. The Church members literally moved boulders, while cleaning out Ethel’s back yard. The plumbing got fixed, so Ethel’s family now has hot water! The leaky roof was fixed, gutters installed, new lights and smoke detectors put in, as well as a new back door and railing. This was a herculean project for Moe and the gang, but they were clearly up for the challenge!
